For some reason Blogger isn't behaving itself for Sam so it is left to me to announce the winner, runner-up and commended writers of the Open Short Story 2006 competition. The stories listed here will be available in a Leaf anthology later in the year.

This is the Open Short Story Competition 2006 - the Micro-Fiction competition is a different animal altogether and is still in the process of being judged.

We had 479 entries for the summer short story competition. So again well done to the winners who are featured in the The Better Craftsman.
