Oh. Yes. Also.

A quick note to those awaiting responses to their novella submissions... the first round - the ones who submitted approximately three months ago - are being dealt with right now and hopefully if you're one of those people you should hear from us within the next fortnight or so. Not quite three months, but absolutely as close as we can manage: it's been a very busy few weeks of late and we're getting on top of things gradually, but we do ask for a mite more of your patience. Many thanks.

Sam.

Glad to hear you are learning how to protect our data. I assume you do not share our personal info with third parties, but where does it say this on your web-site?

Also it would be nice to have links back to the home page on all the other pages.

Have you had many entries for the sci-fi comp?

You should be able to go back to the homepage by clicking on the Leaf in the top-left corner of each page.

(I can't see how to can edit a comment after you've made it and I wanted to add stuff so I've had to delete the comment containing just the above so I could add...)

We have a shared office and instead of being in the meetin room the talk about the Data Protection Act was talking part in the doorway to office as Sam said.

I can definitely confirm that everyone's personal info is only used by us and not shared with anyone else.

A strange thing about competitions is that most of the entries come in towards the end of the last month just before the deadline - I'm looking forward to reading what comes in.

In fact I look forward to reading the entries to all the competitions. I'm always amazed at the variety of ideas and styles that come in. And Sci-Fi has a lot of scope for very big ideas.

No... said with affection, naturally, but we have no idea what his third paragraph means either. That's just what happens when you try to use language after midnight.

Yes, we are protecting all your lovely data with shields and spurs and reinforced buttresses and all those things and were not actually learning all this for the first time during last week's meeting - that was just a kind of inadvertant top-up that two team members attended lest it proved useful. But many thanks for pointing out our neglecting to reassure you on the website about the fact that we very much do not give out any info whatsoever to third parties. It shall be amended forthwith (or this evening at least).

Ah! The Leaf, yes, thank you. Not just decorative, but functional also.
Why so cryptic, are you trying to catch out us lesser mortals?
